Microverse: Blocking navigation across a river

I’m making a level with Microverse. Love it!

There’s a river in the level, made with the MV spline tool. I wanted to have beasts not able to cross the river, except at bridges. How to make the navmesh make the rivier unwalkable? There are probably better ways to do it, but here’s what I did.

The spline tool can instantiate objects along itself. I made a cube, marked it static, and unwalkable. Then I had the spline tool instantiate lots of copies of the cube.

Before baking the navmesh, I made the cube visible as normal. Then bake. Then turn off the mesh renderer on the cube.
